Our Vision

In our Haverigg family we strive to be: creative thinkers, brave problem solvers and healthy risktakers, using our unique environment to celebrate our heritage and inspire our future.

Haverigg Primary School is a creative and nurturing community and we strive to inspire all of our children, families and staff to grow in confidence, think big, aim high and be healthy. We are proud of our school and are determined, every single day, to do our best. We love the outdoors and take every opportunity to learn in the beautiful countryside, beaches and woods that surround us, no matter what the weather forecast is!

Our Lighthouse logo is close to our hearts and every child and staff member who joins school becomes an honorary "Lighthouse Keeper" in recognition or our ongoing inolvement in the upkeep and renovation of the Haverigg Lighthouse.

Having fun whilst we learn is a priority and we participate in outdoor activity and city residentials, projects and competitions that provide new experiences and opportunities to build resilience. Our aim is for all of our children and parents to leave us with memories that will make them smile for years to come.

We are striving to become an eco-friendly school and do all we can to raise awareness about environmental issues and actively address climate change; small steps make a big difference!

Think big, think differently and always creatively!

Our Values
